I just wanted to say, even if you have never suffered from self harm, it's really nice to see someone strong who actually gets it. I have (more than I would like) experience with self harm and suicide, but I talk to people, friends of mine, who automatically jump to thinking that someone who is suicidal is just being selfish for wanting to take their life, or melodramatic. And it's just really nice to know there ARE people who take time to think about the victim's side of it.
I can’t stand people who act like that, like the person is just being selfish or melodramatic, or treat it like a joke.
It’s disgusting, like do you really think that’s helping them? Your self righteous attitude is only going to make it worse.

I’m not saying everyone needs to be a licensed therapist but you don’t have to be a damn asshole either.
