I agree with you on this whole issue. I don't think the staff is going to take time to sort through what's a recovery blog and what isn't. I follow several recovery blogs, and they do help. I'd rather leave the pro-ana/pro-mia/pro-SH (though I'm not sure if those really exist) up than lose the recovery blogs.
AnonymousPro-ana definitely exist pro-ana is much easier to find that recovery from ana blogs but I don’t know about pro-cutting, I have never seen that. I’ve seen cutting blogs that don’t particularly discourage cutting but I have never seen one that openly “promotes” it.
